I hope that everyone has a great time this year, and that the event runs smoothly from registration through completion. However...
As a result of some...issues...last year, this is my reminder to all participants, Admin and Players alike.
As the OIC of this range, I am the only person at the entire event who is literally putting his entire career and freedom on the line to put on this event. That's right, sufficient jackassery from attendees can cost me my commission and land me in jail. To that end, I reserve the right to change ANYTHING at ANYTIME. Additionally, at the end of the day, it is not Range Control, Garrison Safety, KCAC or FRAT that will decide what is and is not acceptable at this event. It is me. If I say "No" that is the final word, it doesn't matter who else is "OK with it" because they're not the one who is at the end of the line.
I hate that I have to say this, but events of the past make it necessary.
With all that said, the event is being planned jointly with a large amount of individuals involved, and I am by no means trying to pull some dictatorship move. I just needed to ensure that everyone is tracking what the bottom line is before anything gets out of hand.
