We got a few questions about BB weight vs FPS limits. Here is a handy list to help:
OUTDOOR LIMITS: AEG -Min engagement range 20ft for non-DMR class AEGs and 40ft for 450 FPS DMR class (secondary weapon needed). BB mass_____FPS 0.20g_______400 0.23g_______365 0.25g_______330 0.28g_______305 0.30g_______270
BOLT-ACTION - Min Engagement range 75ft- SECONDARY WEAPON REQUIRED! BB mass_____FPS 0.20g_______550 0.23g_______515 0.25g_______470 0.28g_______435 0.30g_______390 0.36g_______335 0.43g_______270
We will not allow the use of BBs heavier than 0.43g and aluminum or glass BB's are NOT allowed. If you are caught with them, you will be removed from the event instantly.
INDOOR LIMITS- Min engagement range is 5ft, but can be zero at times, so wear appropriate protective gear. BB mass_____FPS 0.20g_______360

Remember, ALL guns must pass chrono with .2g BBs, regardless of where they fall on this chart - use this for reference only.

The SR-25 is a mixed Sniper and DMR weapon. For purposes of this game, it is considered a DMR weapon, with only bolt-action for sniper. Do you have the ability to bring the FPS down?

If your main weapon is shooting 400fps and you move to assault a building, do you have to have a secondary weapon in order to engage a target in a building? What about around the buildings?

In my opinion it is best practice to pull a sidearm for close quarters engagements. You can stick to walls tighter and have the weapon in closer.

That and it really sucks to get shot with a 400 fps gun from 10-15 ft.

But as Long as our long guns are not shooting over 360 we can work through the buildings with them if we wish. Correct?

This is correct. But I'm pretty sure that it's semi-auto only indoors.

Do the game organizers provide the .20g bbs? Because I know myself and others don't use .20's anymore. So I'm wondering if we needed to bring any.
