For chrono, we provide the .20s. There are restrictions on the types of BBs, so read the first part of this thread about that and BB weight limits.

The average has to be below 400 - one round at 405 could still pass as long as the average is correct.
If it's brand new just take it out and shoot it around a bit and the FPS will drop nicely into range.

No, that note is just for the DMRs.
You still probably WANT a pistol - these are smaller buildings and the maneuverability of a pistol would be very useful.

are we allowed to use .25 bb's 0.25g bb's are in fact, listed above. Thus they are allowed. And once again bbs greater than .043g are NOT allowed. Aluminum or glass BB's are also not allowed. Further more EVERY airsoft gun will be Chrono'd with .20g bb's. No exceptions. If your airsoft gun is shooting within the given FPS range, double check to make sure that it is the FPS of your gun when you are using .20 bbs. If you're shooting "hot" with .20g at the game Chrono you will not be allowed to use the airsoft gun in game; as per the rules. Note the rules as listed: 14. Feet Per Second Limit 14.1 CQB Limit = 360 fps or lower (Including Pistols). Minimum engagement of 10ft. field, 5ft indoor. 14.2 Field Limit = 400 fps or lower. Minimum engagement of 20ft. 14.3 DMR Limit = 450 fps or lower. Minimum engagement of 40ft. 14.4 Sniper Limit = 550 fps or lower. Minimum engagement 75ft.

Just a question here....
Is the chart at the brgining of this thread correct?? I personally think it's off. When I even have a gun that is crowding the plate at 400fps with .20g bb's, it usually shoots in the 365-375 range with .25gs, not that fps with .23gs. I've had the fps go from about 400fps with .20gs to ~330fps with .28's. Heck, my 1911 GBB pistol shot 330fps with .20g's and only went down to 296fps with .25's, so I really don't see how a .05g weight difference is gonna bring the fps in an AEG down by 75fps. So basically my point here is that it seems like the chart is off.

It might be off - it's just a guide - but the definitive chrono will be with .20s. It doesn't matter what you shoot with other weights, as long as your .20 chrono is under the limit.
