I have a few nerf swords and the such but beyond the nerf are replica bayonets and the such ok for indoor kills ( kinda like tag )

Indoor (and any safety kills) are non-contact kills. Don't hit people with swords.

Just trying to clarify, Skyler, what the CPT means is that there is to be absolutely no contact, which a sword or bayonet kill falls under, therefore they aren't going to be in play.

"12.3 There is to be no physical contact with an opposing player, unless doing so for a "knife" kill. If this rule is broken you can be removed from the field and arrested by the Fort Riley Military Police."
Is the ruling now no contact for knife kills? This rule leads me to believe that contact would be allowed (within reason) for a knife kill. I carry a cold steel trainer for this purpose. If knife kills will not be allowed I will simply not pack it and use safety kills in it's place. Not trying to cause a problem, just clarifying for myself and others that may be in the same boat.

Wasn't tracking that rule, but a knife kill under that rule would be a gentle tap on the shoulder.

Keep in mind guys that this event is meant to be kept fairly realistic. Thus NERF and other toy foam swords, axes, ect. are in no way realistic or (in my personal opinion) belong on an airsoft field.

There are still people who take hatchets into combat. The nerf swords would be analogous to knives/bayonets. Just sayin'.

But we nor anyone else should be lugging around a foam weapon like bob from Airsoft Gi. Lets be realistic here, and don't be the guy who had a set of purple bdu's on at the first op.
